Continue helping your client peel away layers of the onion by bringing them deeper into awareness and understanding of what is going on in their body. In SomaCentric Dialoguing 2 you will learn new concepts, which helps you to deepen your understanding of the fundamentals presented in SomaCentric Dialoguing 1.
We will continue to explore various methods of SomaCentric Dialoguing. You have learned how to go beyond conversing with your client, now learn nuances about how to be even more effective. The power and profoundness is in the nuances. We will hone and fine-tune your dialoguing skills and explore difficulties you may have encountered.

❖Learn about the importance of time and timing
❖Explore how to talk your client’s “foreign languages”
Feel like a broken record repeating the same phrases? At a loss for words? You will learn how to broaden your questions and at the same time continue to focus your client’s attention to what is happening within themselves.
Some of what you will learn about:

❖should vs next time
❖putting clients on pause to focus their awareness
❖reframing/restating client statements and questions
❖where emotions are stored
❖more techniques for exploring specific problems
Who can attend:
This workshop is designed for and open to anyone who interacts with other people, ideally in a health care profession or teaching position. This includes, but is not limited to massage therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, dental hygienists, chiropractors, psychologists, social workers, yoga and tai chi instructors and movement teachers and associated staff.
Participants will earn a certificate of completion for this 18 hour continuing education course. Julie McKay Covert is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. #451104-09
